Micro and Mini Donkeys

Meet Lolly, Pop and Dulce.  Two Micros and one Mini donkey.  You might be wondering what is the difference between the two.   A Mini donkey is roughly 33 to 36 inches tall at the withers (shoulders). A Micro donkey is only about 26 to 32 inches at the withers.

A male is called a Jack and a female is called a Jenny.

The gestation period for an Donkey is a little over 12 months.  After the baby is born it must remain with the mother for 5 months before it can go to a new home.
